Good News For You

I have good news for you.  God loves you and he has a purpose for your life.

He has a mission for you to be a part of and he’s wondering if you would like to be a part of his family that is going to make the world right again?

In The Beginning Everything Was Good

You see, when God created everything he looked at it and he said it was good.

Unfortunately if you look around you’ll see a lot of stuff that looks downright bad.  Every where you look you see brokenness, hatred, sickness & disease.

And to deal with this brokenness, people turn to all kinds of things.

Some turn to relationships thinking people will solve their problems.

Some might even turn to drugs and drinking.

Others turn to money thinking money will solve all their problems.

But the thing is brokenness comes from one thing.  Sin…  We walked away from God’s good design.

God can’t stand this, so he promised to make things right again.

So he sent his son Jesus to show us what Love really is.

He healed the sick, performed many miracles, served the poor and made radical statements like calling God his Dad.

People would ask him things like “How do we really know you are God?  Why should we follow you? Don’t all ways lead to God?”

He would say “kill me and 3 days later I will come back from the dead”.

So Jesus showed the greatest act of love he could do. He gave up his life, dying on a cross.

And 3 days later he came back from the dead.

Proving he is King of the universe.

He said if you will believe in him and give control of your life to Jesus.

He will give you his Holy Spirit.

When you are in the family of Jesus, he has a mission for you to be a part of.

You are called to Go and when you see those Bad things like Sickness and disease and brokenness and a lack of purpose in life. he will use you to make things Good again.

Would you like to be a part of God’s family to make the world a better place?

You can turn control of your life over to Jesus by praying, the words aren’t so important because He knows your heart.

If you are unsure of what to pray, this might help you put it into words:

“Jesus, thank you for loving me and giving your life for me.  I believe you are alive.  So I give my life to you.  You are in charge.  Forgive me for the sins I have committed.  I want to be a part of your plan to make the world right again.  Help me to be just like you.  Fill me with your Holy Spirit.  Amen”
